ABOUT PROJECT

The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) and The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) wanted to create an online, interactive “clearinghouse” of information about protective order firearm prohibitions. The website, Disarm Domestic Violence, provides comprehensive, practical guidance for survivors, advocates, law enforcement, judges, judicial staff, prosecutors, legislation, activists, and researchers and has an interactive map which compares and filters states based on their domestic firearms policies.
